Restaurant description

From the team behind Michelin-starred Hakkasan, Sake no Hana offers high-end Japanese cuisine with a fashionable edge. An earthy yet edgy interior features design from Kengo Kuma, whilst the sleek sushi bar offers a freshly-crafted selection.

Made using the finest ingredients, the Sake no Hana menu offers a signature sushi range, with creations including hand-rolled salmon avocado maki, or delicate mango and softshell crab. Bringing expertly crafted Japanese cuisine to London, sumptuous Sake no Hana main courses are served in rustic iron pots, with offerings like Chilean sea bass with miso, or seared scallops with white asparagus.

An accomplished drinks list at Sake no Hana in St. James showcases Japanese whiskeys and wines, while classic cocktails are given a Sake no Hana twist. Cool and cleansing mixes include the cucumber and ginger spritzer, or a sake-based ‘smoky plum’ concoction.

A legendary Japanese restaurant close to Mayfair, Sake no Hana is a 5-minute walk from Green Park Tube Station. Please note, the dress code is smart casual.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the food and service was amazing. I have never been so impressed with a dining experience and would definitely return in the future.

Everything was very great, but to be fantastique, I would have appreciate the desert with happy birsthday for my boyfriend "I précise in the booking" and also I had the filling that as the kitchen was closing. We were being pushed outside.

Absolutely amazing dining experience! If you love sushi, you must try this place. Second time I have come to this restaurant and the experience has been incredible. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The food is exceptional, very good value for money. We had a five course tasting menu with half a bottle of wine, the variety of food is great, the fish is so fresh and we left the restaurant feeling very full. Left a note for the restaurant when booking that it was my boyfriend’s birthday, and they surprised us with a fabulous birthday dessert decorated with a birthday message and a candle. If you are driving to the restaurant, there are limited pay by the hour parking spaces outside the restaurant and on the adjacent street.

Marvellous food & excellent service. This is a real treat for the palate! The autumn tasting menu is really good value & selection of options is exquisitely matched. Unfussy & spacious setting & a good selection of champagne. The staff cope well with diverse dietary needs & offer good advice without being obtrusive.

We tried the 5-course taster menu and it was amazing from start to finish. Every dish tasted wonderful and the service was slick and professional throughout. We felt thoroughly pampered from the moment we arrived until we were shown to the exit.
