What an excellent experience. The dishes were fine, but I must say the service was 10/10! My parents were extremely impressed with some 10 different people serving us and every single one was nothing but super pleasant and polite. A great experience.

From the team behind Michelin-starred Hakkasan, Sake no Hana offers high-end Japanese cuisine with a fashionable edge. An earthy yet edgy interior features design from Kengo Kuma, whilst the sleek sushi bar offers a freshly-crafted selection.

Made using the finest ingredients, the Sake no Hana menu offers a signature sushi range, with creations including hand-rolled salmon avocado maki, or delicate mango and softshell crab. Bringing expertly crafted Japanese cuisine to London, sumptuous Sake no Hana main courses are served in rustic iron pots, with offerings like Chilean sea bass with miso, or seared scallops with white asparagus.

An accomplished drinks list at Sake no Hana in St. James showcases Japanese whiskeys and wines, while classic cocktails are given a Sake no Hana twist. Cool and cleansing mixes include the cucumber and ginger spritzer, or a sake-based ‘smoky plum’ concoction.

A legendary Japanese restaurant close to Mayfair, Sake no Hana is a 5-minute walk from Green Park Tube Station. Please note, the dress code is smart casual.

Lovely. Relaxed and refined upstairs dining room. We had the tasting menu, a lovely range of beautifully presented dishes, accompanied by the crisp and elegant house white. There were a lot of waiters and servers, service was very charming although sometimes a little absent-minded (we had to ask 2 or 3 times for soup spoons). But overall, a very pleasant experience and impressive balance of sophistication and informality.

Yesterday, a friend and I went for the £35 5-course dinner deal. Overall, it was not such a good experience. First, in the 5-course deal rice was not included and needed to be purchased extra. This was disappointing. Second, course 1 is a miso soup, which was served together with course 2 (tempura). Third, the service was very rushed and a little bit unfriendly. Fourth, the food was good, but not Michelin star quality. Fith, my firned thought that the white wine was already opneed for many hours and it lost its flavour. -- Including water, half a rice bowl and tip we paid £45 each. The ambience is very nice (nice toilets), but definitively not Michelin star quality.

This was our first visit and we found Sake No Hana to be offering a higher standard of cuisine and service than we had anticipated. Each of our 5 courses was excellent, flavour, appearance and variety were all exemplary - Japanese fine dining at its best. The restaurant itself is full of character, with light wood and bamboo walls and ceilings combined to stunning effect. Service was provided by very attentive and courteous waiters who explained each dish when it was served. We had an offer of 5 courses and half a bottle of wine for £35 each. Overall a very good experience that we will be repeating.

Service is incredible - before arriving Staff was very helpful and accommodated my special request for a birthday dessert platter.
In the restaurant everything and everyone did an Amazing job and we were very impressed, from welcoming us to the drinks, food and dessert everything has been extraordinary. Definitely recommend it for any occasion as it is located in a great location and has really good vibes the interior design of the restaurant.

We had the sake no hana tasting menu with wine. Everything was really delicious (including the wine!)
The restaurant is beautiful and chic, the staff really friendly and professional, and the general atmosphere was great, sophisticated but not stuffy.

The service, food and wine were all excellent. The only thing we would change is the music. Gentle Japanese background music rather than the current playlist would be more atmospheric

Sake No Hane is a great restaurant in a prime location delivering on its exclusive fit out. We enjoyed a 5 course eating experience and truly enjoyed every bite. Today it was more a 3 star than a 5 star experience since its staff seemed to be "elsewhere", so in order to reaching up to dining experiences given by its peers in Mayfair, it is a trek for SnH getting there. Shame, since its food and restaurant is brilliant!

I will probably return hoping to get that all 5 star experience it probably can give at its best since its food is fantastic!
