From the team behind Michelin-starred Hakkasan, Sake no Hana offers high-end Japanese cuisine with a fashionable edge. An earthy yet edgy interior features design from Kengo Kuma, whilst the sleek sushi bar offers a freshly-crafted selection.

Made using the finest ingredients, the Sake no Hana menu offers a signature sushi range, with creations including hand-rolled salmon avocado maki, or delicate mango and softshell crab. Bringing expertly crafted Japanese cuisine to London, sumptuous Sake no Hana main courses are served in rustic iron pots, with offerings like Chilean sea bass with miso, or seared scallops with white asparagus.

An accomplished drinks list at Sake no Hana in St. James showcases Japanese whiskeys and wines, while classic cocktails are given a Sake no Hana twist. Cool and cleansing mixes include the cucumber and ginger spritzer, or a sake-based ‘smoky plum’ concoction.

A legendary Japanese restaurant close to Mayfair, Sake no Hana is a 5-minute walk from Green Park Tube Station. Please note, the dress code is smart casual.

I called to book a table for 2, I was told nothing was available unless we dine on street level and odd times (6pm or 9:30) and the lady had a very rude bad attitude.
I went on bookatable and ofcourse they had plenty of tables and times available so through the website i booked a table for the time we wanted. IS THIS INSANE? why lie!!!!!! why!!!! although food and service were good at dinner, already have a bad impression of them.
There was a table of business men next to us, they were drunk and shouting instead of talking.

Nice decor, super helpful staff. We arrived and were seated immediately. We had opted for the taste of saka no hana deal if 5 courses and a half bottle of wine each. Wine was decent, and the presentation of the food was as one would expect beautiful, however I thought that the taste of food overall was pretty bland, I think if I was paying full price I would have been disappointed. I think it was a bit of the age old problem of style over substance. Would I go again maybe if someone else was paying lol

Service was great, food was delicious. The teriyaki salmon was stunning and exceptional.

Was very unimpressed with the deal offered. Two of us were dining with the 5 course and half bottle pp deal. I got 2 glasses of wine (which equates to half bottle, I was told), and my pregnant best friend was only offered one mocktail?! How cheap would the wine have been if that’s all she got? Not the most important point, but given everything else was fantastic there, thought I mentioned the latter.
