Customer reviews for Sahara
(**** 21 August 2011 by N.G. from London
My family and I went to dine here at this restaurant on Thursday 18th August 2011 at approximately 8.30pm. My family and I had been fasting and were happy to try this new restaurant which recently opened in this area only a couple of months ago. The dishes which we ordered were extrememly disappointing, lamb shawerma was almost burnt, the kofta which I ordered tasted awful and I asked for tahina sauce to cover the after taste which did not work. The kofta had a very bad smell to it. We did not want to complain as we did not want to tarnnish the restaurant's atmosphere whilst other customers were dining there.Food was not of lebanese quality at all and did not taste at all to the standards expected from a lebanese quisine. The Waiter removed the plates with still food in them. Very Bad quality for money.
