This restaurant is everything you would expect from an insider's tip. The owner is a charming gentleman and will happily offer helpful pointers to the uninitiated if they are looking anxiously at the menu over the bar. He might recommend the aubergines, which combine wonderfully with flavoursome goat's cheese and pistachios, or perhaps one of the various fish dishes which come with delicious saffron rice, and with grilled vegetables as well if desired. To go with this, you could also order an ayran and then your gastronomic tour of Persia would be complete. You would certainly look forward to coming back and the best time for this would be at lunch when Caspian cooked fish, one of the owner?s favourites, is on the menu.
