Restaurant description

A London dining landmark for over 30 years, the permanently moored R.S. Hispaniola offers scenic views of Big Ben, the houses of parliament and the London Eye. This iconic London river restaurant serves French and British cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Stunning river views are offered on the outside decks and throughout the upper deck restaurant. Leading the helm is the rising head chef, Harrison Brown, who focuses strongly on British seasonality and sustainability when creating his menus, bringing you the best of British produce whilst also giving back to the suppliers and to the community.

The R.S. Hispaniola offers an amazing selection of star deals, including unlimited prosecco with a 3-course dinner, a “date night” comprising of a succulent 20oz Aberdeen Angus chateaubriand for two with a bottle of champagne and a free flowing afternoon tea option. Alongside these deals is the diverse bill of fare, which showcases delights such as whole Dover sole meunière, mouth-watering scallops, tender racks of lamb with rich red wine jus and the classic grilled steaks, all of which can be traced back to the farm.

The new addition of a Tikki themed cocktail bar, supported by a live DJ on selected nights, will bring the pleasures of that late night summer party vibe, a perfect end to a day out in the bustling city.

Moored at Victoria Embankment, opposite the London eye, once on-board the R.S. Hispaniola you will see that everything from the menu and ingredients to the ambience is designed to give you an unrivalled dining experience, one to truly never forget. Please reserve your table today.

The location is fab, the outside of the boat didnt look as nice as i had hoped however the inside was much nicer. We had a window seat which was great. The attention to the bottomless prosecco is great. our waiter never let our glasses be empty which was fab. It's nice for a little date or a treat. Food was yummy not overly wow factor but deffo still a lovley place

2nd visit here - Staff really friendly & fun. Had a 3 course & free flowing Prosecco for £35, good value for money. However Free flowing means only 2 hours worth, so we had 4 top ups in total, glasses small. But it was enough. I really enjoyed the Rib Eye steak, cooked to perfection & the Raspberry sorbet is to die for. It's a great place to catch up with friends & family, not for a posh meal out if that's what your looking for. Give it a go you won't regret it.

Very disappointing. It is a pleasant boat with views over the Thames, and a nice place to have drinks with friends. But I would not go there for a meal again. The staff were disorganised, there was a very limited menu available, extremely slow service and the food I had was only average.

We had the lamb dish and it was delicious. Really good foot. They always have a great chef all these years although they change owner from time to time I think. The service was good. Toilets could be more tidy. They don’t serve food outside and maybe the owner should think about it as it would have been nice to have this option. Interior design of the restaurant a bit out of character but we love this boat as we got married there 10 years ago. Also maybe more attention to detail as we wrote in the booking that it was our wedding anniversary and nobody noticed to wish to us. We did not mind but It’s just that small details make the difference and we would love to see this boat doing very well. Overall good experience and we had a lovely time.
