A London dining landmark for over 30 years, R.S. Hispaniola restaurant ship gives diners classic elegance on the River Thames. Moored at Victoria Embankment, stunning river views are offered on the sun terraces and upper deck bar.
Effortlessly romantic, the R.S. Hispaniola restaurant sits just across from the London Eye, and benefits from the sparkle of its lights on the water. Al fresco dining on deck in the warmer months is perfect for enjoying one of the many wines on offer, and R.S. Hispaniola London also serves a popular afternoon tea menu.
Modern British and European cuisine feature on the R.S. Hispaniola menu. Bold flavour and texture combinations feature in dishes like wild mushroom risotto with truffle oil and shaved parmesan. Fresh seafood options are also available, like South Coast plaice with sautéed spinach, burnt butter and capers
The R.S. Hispaniola offers romance and spectacle, just a short walk from Charing Cross and Embankment Tube stations.

It is a lovely place to eat, and we had a window seat to enjoy the view. As a vegetarian the food was disappointing, I did not like the starter, we had to buy extra sides for the main.

A beautiful location on the River Thames, peacefully surrounded by the hustle and bustle of early evening life in the capital. My boyfriend and I sat by a window and enjoyed the view of lights glinting on the river, highlighting the skyline and buildings on the opposite bank. The sight of the London Eye all lit up with red lights that fade in & out is magnificent.
All the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly when explaining the bill after I had queried it (We had gone there using a voucher, but didn't understand how the bill had been laid out).
The food was delicious, although my boyfriend had a bit of a tough time choosing a starter as none of the items appealed to him. He opted for the chilled soup as this seemed, to him, to be the better option. However, despite enjoying the flavour, he couldn't get over the fact that it wasn't hot. He had the seared chicken breast for the main course and said it was delicious, as was the apple cake he had for dessert. My own meal was also very good and I couldn't fault any of it.
We would definitely dine on the RS Hispaniola again, but hot soup to start would definitely be appreciated!

Absolutely amazing lunch offer. Staff couldn't have been more attentive and friendly but professional. The food was great. The views were great and the Proseco certainly was free flowing. Brilliant.

We had the set menu with free flowing prosecco. And it definitely was free flowing! The waiter was very attentive. Lovely food with awesome views.

Lovely location, good, attentive service. First course took a while to arrive but was explained by one of our party having some very specific dietary needs, which was fine. All 3 courses good (1 chicken, 1 salmon, 1 veggie skewers mains, nice starters and lovely sorbet for dessert). no pressure to rush and good views from outside dinniing area.

Lovely for a drink on deck but dinner wasn’t special. Staff very friendly but decor dated at food plain.
