A London dining landmark for over 30 years, R.S. Hispaniola restaurant ship gives diners classic elegance on the River Thames. Moored at Victoria Embankment, stunning river views are offered on the sun terraces and upper deck bar.

Effortlessly romantic, the R.S. Hispaniola restaurant sits just across from the London Eye, and benefits from the sparkle of its lights on the water. Al fresco dining on deck in the warmer months is perfect for enjoying one of the many wines on offer, and R.S. Hispaniola London also serves a popular afternoon tea menu.

Modern British and European cuisine feature on the R.S. Hispaniola menu. Bold flavour and texture combinations feature in dishes like wild mushroom risotto with truffle oil and shaved parmesan. Fresh seafood options are also available, like South Coast plaice with sautéed spinach, burnt butter and capers

The R.S. Hispaniola offers romance and spectacle, just a short walk from Charing Cross and Embankment Tube stations.

warm welcome from staff team who were efficient and attentive throughout. Loved the location and the window table given to us. Free flowing bubbly was just what was promised for an hour and the accompanying two course meal was well prepared and artistically presented and overall the meal and drinks were very good value especially so for the location.

Booked a table for 2pm lunch for my 49th birthday, just for myself and partner. As you approach the boat, it’s a bit rusty and neglected. We even thought we’d come to the wrong place! The tide was high so we had to skip over the water coming over the ramp to get on. The decor inside is very dated. Orange and black. Was like sitting in a huge Jaffa cake! The welcome was very warm and friendly and all staff throughout our meal were very attentive and put us at ease. We were sat at a table for 2 by the window which was lovely. Views of the London Eye. Our expectations for the food were low as the deal was 3 courses plus glass of prosecco for £25 per head. The food was basic but tasty. In addition, we ordered a bottle of red and coffees. Red wine was fab. We enjoyed the novelty of dining on a boat on the Thames but it does need a good revamp before I would consider returning.

Beautiful views of the London Eye and lit up buildings on the river Thames, however food quality was poor for what you pay. 2 meals and one bottle of wine came to £100 - gratuities are added on at 15%. Probably wont return as food quality does not present value for money which is a shame considering the good location.

We all had a great evening on R.S Hispanola, food was excellent and the women loved the cocktails. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely meal here early on Saturday evening after we’d been to a matinee at the Garrick Theatre. The restaurant’s a 10 minute walk away, so very convenient. There were five of us and we were really impressed at how much space we had. Other similarly priced restaurants in the West End have small tables, very close to each other, but we didn’t feel at all cramped here. We had three courses and a glass of prosecco for £25 and added five sides at £3.50 each. We thought everything was delicious. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. When I booked, I asked if we could have a table with a view of the London Eye as we were celebrating my husband’s birthday. We got the view and also my husband’s dessert was brought with a candle, a happy birthday message and a chorus of Happy Birthday which was a lovely touch. We highly recommend the restaurant and will certainly come back.

Coukdn’t Have been a better way to celebrate my husband's 60th Birthday - had asked on line for a private table - got one!! The food was perfect and they even spent time in a Happy Birthday plate & candle! Staff were attentive and polite and made the evening memorable! Would recommend to others! Thank you
One little issue is the music and the volume. We found it a little intrusive but assume other parties like the backgound noise! The type of music wasn’t really our ‘thing’ either - would have coped better with classical rather the raunchy stuff that was being played but we’re all different!!

The overall experience was excellent the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was a level above most restaurants. The chef made subtle use of flavours to enhance dishes. So ham hock terrine was raised in interest by a red fruit sauce that provided a foil to the rich terrine. The choice of wines and spirits was varied so that if you wanted not to pay too much you could or go for a fine wine. We have a mid range wine that was just what we were after.
