Service was excellent, but the food is very average. We had fish and by the time it was out, it was on the cold side and flavour is not great either.....

Wonderful lunch, food was delicious. The staff were lovely, we had drinks before dinner, we were served very leisurely, enjoying each course nothing was too much trouble. The surroundings were beautiful, I would recommend this as a mid week treat amazing value.

Top-notch cuisine and excellent value for money. I have a healthy appetite and, for once, fine dining did not leave me hungry. Plenty of bread and rich mashed potato. How many restaurants seem to forget these basics!

Lovely venue, though it's a puzzle that its history as London's famous Palm Court is concealed rather than celebrated. (I grew up listening to the Palm Court Orchestra on the radio).

I'd like to pay special tribute to the service, which I'm fussy about. It struck exactly the right balance between efficiency/unobtrusiveness and attentiveness/informativeness. I'm rather fed up with the over-talkative waiters projecting their personalities on me, which seems to happen everywhere in the UK these days. Waiters should glide as if on wheels and be visible only when you want to see them. Yours are clearly well trained.
