Bit of a disappointment as the well-presented dishes tended to be over-sophisticated and thus lost some of the original taste of the prime ingredients. The service and surroundings were up to expectation.

Lovely restaurant- really well laid out so that no table is too close to the next one. We had the star deal of 3 courses and a glass of champagne- superb food and great value for money. Service was excellent and non intrusive. Would recommend and go again. The bar in hotel, where we had pre dinner drinks was v expensive though with cocktails and G&T £20.

Lovely experience with good food and excellent service. Very good value on set dinner with 2 glasses of wine. Egg starter and dessert really good. Steak was fine but not outstanding. Other party had pork belly, which they enjoyed but was very rich so be warned. Cheeese course is also recommended. Staff make it memorable. Now a firm favourite.
