Wonderful from start to finish - the service was excellent and he food was so attractive and fabulous. The Christmas pudding soufflé was delicious and the perfect ending to this festive lunch. By the time you add wine, coffee and service charge it worked out at £85pp which is a lot more than previous years when the wine and coffee were included in the £49 price. Not sure if we shall return as can get fine dinjng lunch deals elsewhere that are better value but we did enjoy our recent visit a lot

My daughter Tanya booked this for my 60th birthday. My husband and I were the first diners of the evening as we were going to the theatre later. We make this known to the waitress so that she was aware that our time might be limited. We chose 2 different 3 course meals to share the experience. All the food courses were explained in detail and their presentation and taste was just amazing. We had our complimentary champagne to start. At the end of our our courses we were presented with handmade chocolates and had these with coffee. We wished later that we had noted the champagne we also had on arrival. We had to limit our choice of drinks due to driving but I'm sure these would have been equally wonderful. One thing my husband loved was the butter with the bread, rather odd to mention but we travel in France a lot and miss the bread basket and french butter that you never get in England. I have to say I had to take pics of the food for my daughter to see and our experience will definitely encourage our family and friends to visit your wonderful restaurant. The amount of detail in the contents of the food was astounding and a lot of effort was put into its end result. The duck was my husbands favourite and I always have fish and again was not disappointed. Our visit will be a night to remember. Thank you La Roux.....

As before, the food and service were first class. We would recommend the main course duck and the caramelised white chocolate dessert.
