At the 5-star Langham, Roux at The Landau by Michel Roux Jr offers an elegant, yet pared-back menu, with a focus on the provenance of ingredients.
Under Michel Roux Jr’s guidance and supervision, chef Nicolas Pasquier creates simple yet refined dishes using classic French cooking techniques. Expect dishes such as braised turbot with native lobster ravioli or chicken gyoza with lemongrass, all complemented by a range of desserts specially created by The Langham’s executive pastry chef, Andrew Gravett. For a savoury end to a meal, a sizeable custom-made cabinet showcases a range of cheeses from the very best British and French suppliers.
Entering through the impressive wine vault with its atmospheric lighting, diners at The Landau progress to the lavish yet elegant interior of the dining room, created by award-winning, London-based interior architecture practice David Collins Studio. Roux at The Landau London offers a wine list compiled with passion, with precisely 525 varieties of both New and Old World wines, all available by the glass.

A wonderful meal with seamless and friendly service. The food was sublime and the extras like a tasting cheese gougere, amazing sourdough bread and butter and the thin shards of chocolate at the end were delicious. The strawberry chocolate in particular was so strong with berry freshness- never tasted anything like it in my life! Great value and highly recommended.

The food was good but the star of the show for me was the staff. They’re all excellent without exception from the woman who took our coats to the sommelier & everyone in between. We ate at 5 on a Friday evening & despite the time there was a pleasant buzz in the restaurant and we were able to have an unhurried meal before going to the theatre. We’ve found few decent restaurants open early enough for a pleasant pre-theatre experience so we frequently visit Roux - always a good experience.

Food looked and tasted great. All staff were friendly and efficient and made us feel very welcome and well looked after. Lovely ambience in the restaurant and we all enjoyed the evening and will return.

Absolutely fantastic, dines here 4 weeks ago and this was up to the same standard. Food was excellent as was the service, the deal with 3 courses and 2 glasses of wine was great value.

Dinning at Roux at Landau was outstanding. The service we received was friendly and professional. It’s difficult to choose which was the best dish as they were all good. My husband said Crispy hen egg was delicious, for me it was the duck. But overall they were all exceptional. We really enjoyed the wine that was recommended as it complimented the food perfectly. Lovely experience we will come again when we are next in London.

A fantastic example of what happens when everything comes together. Genuinely excellent food and service. Well done Michel, the management team and all the individuals, both front of house and kitchens. I shall definitely return soon.

I absolutely loved the service and food. The staff were super attentive. I don't any complaints whatsoever. My favorite was the manjari molleux! ... Absolutely divine. The Chocolate shard at the end was lovely too. Thank you for a lovely evening.
