From the acclaimed team behind Dock Kitchen, Rotorino is a sleek southern Italian eatery that brings rustic Mediterranean cuisine to East London. Whether enjoying al fresco pavement dining or the elegant restaurant area, diners can indulge in an outstanding range of Italian and international wins selected by Ruth Spivey of Street Vin.
The Rotorino menu spans everything from cured and wood-grilled meats, to rich mozzarella to fresh, decadent pasta. Diners can exult in the hanger steak with Calabrian chilli sauce, or enjoy one of the multiple choice house wines or chilled Italian beers available from the opulent, superbly-stocked bar.
Every detail in Rotorino is exquisitely observed, from the nautical decorations to the atmospheric low-hanging lamps. The effervescent blues and sultry caramels of the tiling and seating are instantly eye-catching, giving the restaurant a vibrant, coastal milieu that belies its urban setting.
An Italian-themed haven on the bustling Kingsland Road, Rotorino in London is just a 5-minute walk from Haggerston Station.

Great Sardinian cooking, good vibes. The space has lots character and I like all the different textures in the building, concrete, tiles etc.

Great, dined on the Sardinian 3 course evening, food was authentic (said my Sardinian guest) and tasted great. Shame about the lack of 24hr tubes midweek so we rushed desert. Great environment, lighting, the lot :) Have you tried the Sicilian 75? Do it, do it now.

N'duja and prawn pastas were good. Buffalo mozzarella starter even better. Nice rotating menu. Great ambiance for dinner and conversation. Surrounding neoghbourhoid is still meh but sprinkle in a few more years of hipsters and it will be better.

Great service, excellent food! The only negative was a film crew that was running around.

It's my fifth outing to Rotorino and the news is obviously spreading locally as there were two other groups of friends dining there who I know!
It was like some weird episode of "Friends".
As ever, the food, wine and service were excellent - shout outs to the chef for the sage / Parmesan gnudi.
Will be returning again soon for sure!
