Very disappointed with venue, we booked the restaurant after reading the reviews on trip adviser, and was expecting the venue to be something special but it was very ordinary , no atmosphere in the area that we were sat in ,I was expecting fine dinning with table cloths and in a restaurant , but we were in a bar. Had it not been for a special occasion it would have been ok , and I would have worn jeans. Also on booking, the times available came up as between 6pm and 7 pm. As it was a Friday night I assummed that was because the restaurant was busy, but no,that was not the case. There was only one other table in there in use. The food we had was again ok but it was quantity not quality
and we ended up eating from the bar menu not Al a carte as the venue didn't warrant it.The 2 waitresses that served us were very friendly and more than helpful .

Excellent food, friendly service and great value for money.
Sensibly short a la carte menu all cooked fresh by clearly talented chefs.
Fish chowder a winner as were the fish main courses, Hake dish was beautiful.
Sweets a perfect end, excellent raspberry sorbet with chocolate tart.
Best meal all week and best value too.

Rosewarne Manor is excellent. Quality every step of the way. Good, friendly efficient but professional service, the food is beautifully presented and cooked, the surroundings - inside and out - are tasteful. All in all, great value and highly recommended.
