Set in a former Georgian townhouse on Kensington High Street, Romulo Café London brings you delightful Filipino cuisine in four sophistically designed dining spaces. Inspired by the famed General Romulo and run by his family, this highly commended restaurant offers traditional recipes with an innovative touch.
Romulo Kensington High Street offers signature sharing plates based on Romulo family recipes. Savour the festive favourite Tito Greg’s beef & oxtail kare-kare with British top blade steak and bok choy, or sample the classic chicken & pork Adobo with sweet potato mash. The special lunch menu offers quick dishes like rice noodles and tender, crispy beef short ribs.
The Ambassador’s lounge - decorated in jewel tones - offers bar food and snacks, and the elegant General’s Bar serves traditional and custom cocktails as well as original Philippine beers. The family heirlooms decorating the walls add a personal flair to your visit.
Romulo Café is located just by Warwick Gardens bus stop or an 8-minute walk from Kensington Olympia Station.

Everything was great from food to service. Crispy pata was really good. We were also given a table dowstairs with no other people around hence we had the place to ourselves. We also got the chance to meet the owners and had a nice chat with them. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Excellent food in the heart of London! The chicken sisig dish was our favorite!

We had a fantastic dinner at Romulo's. The space was relatively small but was balanced by good and insightful decor. The atmosphere was nice and calm. We booked a table for 6 at 7pm and were shown to our table immediately when we arrived. They served us some complimentary bread and butter with some water whilst the menus were handed out. The menu was so extensive and appealing. We tried 3 main dishes and 4 'platitos' which was enough for all 6 of us. Most of us have never eaten Filipino food before therefore everything was new. Everyone enjoyed the food - the sisig was the stand out closely followed by the Adobo. Finally we all shared some halo halo which we demolished!
The only constructive comment I could say was that the waiters and waitresses that assisted us looked rather unhappy. The service was efficient and faultless but they visibly lacked enthusiasm.
Overall, we had a fantastic time and would most certainly be back again.

Loved the food. Pork crispy pata. Stuffed squid. All of it was so tasty and delicious. The ubi cheese case is to die for. Really enjoyed it.
