We ate here as a Birthday celebration for one of my daughters. We are regular customers here and it did not disappoint. The food is just sublime and the service friendly, helpful and flawless. Along with the usual favourites we ate some of the dishes that were recommended as must eats by the waiter.. we didn't regret it... in particular the roasted aubergine with dashi and shaved bonito flakes ...yum! Amazing food ..

Food as always is wondeful here. Service is, as always, patchy. Orders were forgotten, main courses arrived before starters and very disappointing pudding of coconut ice cream which was just one scoop and a very small scoop at that- slightly less than a desert spoon size. For the prices they charge its so disappointing.

We made our own version of a tasting menu with the hell of our server (who was brilliant, really knowledgable of the drinks and dishes we chose). Had excellent the chefs choice of sashimi which was absolutely delicious and then followed up with Black Cod and Crab filled Gyoza’s...also amazing! For main courses we had Black Cod and also a Beef Fillet, which was just ever so slightly too much food (along with a broccoli side dish!) so I’d recommend to go there super hungry!! Definitely worth a visit - there is also a great lounge bar in the basement which we were told serves the same menu if you want something more casual.

Our reservation was 3.00pm we were seated at 3.10pm and told we had to order quickly as the kitchen closed at 3.30pm which is unacceptable. I am a huge Roka fan and came to this restaurant for more atmosphere. The Magar reds did manage to secure some extra food after we complained !

Food was nice, the staff was fabulous. The Tofu- was terrible, it was quite chewy and the flavours were jus off. We had a gift voucher, no one told us to print it before we came, they asked for the details via a call, but the lady didn't explain, had to then email it, they made us wait in the cramped area till the voucher was presented , and didn't seat us till then. It was the day of my husbands 50th, and so i wanted it all seamless, however it was not. When the bill came we had to remind them that they handout included the voucher. I had planned this well ahead, and the lady had called to say what i wanted on the dessert plate, i spelt out the details, and of course they hadn't done that. On the whole the experience was quote average
