starter excellent- main course poor- crab to small for price, not king crab as menu Crab linguini lacked sauce and dry - sweet - pana-cota unrecognisable.. I would suggest you buy a recipe book. Chocolate tart dry. staff very good and attentive

Overall we had a lovely evening . The food was good. Was a little disappointed with the chips. Last time we visited i am sure we had hand cut chips not the skinny fries. The staff were excellent as usual. Love the laid back dining experience.

Excellent and got it on the first day back open which was superb timing. It was an early sitting so fairly free of people but more busy by the time we left

Lovely little restaurant, fast friendly service. The menu is based on what is caught by the owners. First time trying lobster and it was fantastic. I will be going back.

We spend 2 to three nights in Wells every two or three weeks since buying our holiday home there about two years ago. We are "foodies" but for some reason have overlooked Rocky Bottoms until this week. Our experience was very good and Rocky Bottoms will be added to our list of favoured places to eat when we are in North Norfolk. The lobster/crab/oyster/mussels menu suited us for a light'ish lunch. Happy with fish only but another day, the lack of a [white] fish option might put us off - maybe these are available on the dinner menu. Battered haddock with the terrific chips (not the fries) would be good. We bought dressed crab at the shop for later and they were as good as we can remember! Already added to the list of recommended places to eat in North Norfolk amongst our foodie friends in and around our village. When it comes to ratings, remember we are picky - 3 is pretty good. This was 3-4 with limitations related to the slightly limited menu - incidentally, my tempura oysters as a starter was terrific - I might go for it as a starter and a main next time. Allan Binks

Lovely food, really fresh, big portions. We had squid then fish n chips from the specials board and a huge bowl of really fresh mussels. Second visit... definitely going again! If you’re a seafood fan, you absolutely must try this restaurant. Service excellent, friendly and lovely restaurant atmosphere. Many thanks.
