ROBA Bar and Restaurant combines modern food and stylish, yet relaxed surroundings. With a focus on modern British cooking and the robata grill, head chef Andrea Secchi brings his Italian heritage and experience in Michelin-starred kitchens to the exciting ROBA menu.

The ROBA restaurant menu changes at least 6 times a year to reflect the seasons. Taking its name from the robata grill, the restaurant offers an impressive range of grill favourites, including 48-day aged sirloin and ribeye steaks, organic lamb chops and corn-fed chicken, as well as grilled prawns, all of which are sourced in the UK.

Other highlights on the menu include wild smoked salmon with asparagus and a seaweed tartar, classics such as fish and chips, chicken curry and seafood pie, and delicious seafood options such as wild sea bass with purple potato and a prawn bisque. Desserts are made in-house, with the white chocolate and lavender panna cotta a standout choice.

Offering an impressive cocktail list alongside the food menu, ROBA London is a 4-minute walk from Paddington Rail Station.

OK chairs and tables bit basic

Went for afternoon tea. The price was relatively cheap, but we expected cream and sugar cubes at the very least. The experience was more akin to being at a diner than out at afternoon tea. Tea was literally Twinings bags. We were sat directly next to a loud party of friends, despite the entire venue being empty.
Food was pretty good though. Cocktails were okay.

We enjoyed afternoon tea. They catered well for 2 children and the staff were very helpful and polite. We had a lovely time. The food was fresh and delicious and there was plenty of it. All at a very reasonable price, especially for London.

Restuarant had a very nice ambience, staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Unlimited tea made this a good value offer. Gluten free afternoon tea consisted of tea, sandwiches and two scones. Sandwiches were freezing and stale but nice fillings, scones were freshly made and delicious. In contrast, normal afternoon tea also had cakes and treats in addition to scones and sandwiches (which were fresh, and more of, with better variety of fillings, despite all fillings being gluten free). Disappointing that there was such an obvious difference, no attempt to compensate for lack of cakes with any replacements. I would recommend on the basis that it was so cheap, quality was not all that.
