Very enjoyable lunch. Great food the wine list is expensive but all very good. There was no rush or hurrying all afternoon.

Really great location for a restaurant, although menu runs on the pricey side for what it is. I did have a lovely Beetroot burger but the mixed grill my colleague ordered was disappointing - we were told there was going to be fillet steak on it, and what we got was thin and dry and more evocative of a run of the mill frying steak, We complained about how the expectation didn't match the reality and they took it away then brought out an identical one - apparently they cut the fillet thin. They offered to show us the fillet it came from but basically they weren't getting the point, it was the serve that was off, not the base ingredient. We were offered a round of desserts as an apology, so we had 2 coffees and a dessert, which they then charged us for (the two coffees were free... ) The service was also a real mix. Not a brilliant experience over all and unlikely I'll go back.

Everything was ok, we arrived at 6.45 for our booking (2 hour slot?) I think we left around 11ish so we might have overstayed a tad. Food was good as usual, my Haddock
/cheese starter was maybe a tad on the bland side but OK,overall no real complaints on the food side. Wine ?????? what is it about up scale restaurants that they seem to pride themselves in charging telephone numbers for wine, not just top,top type of wine but ANY type of wine. I don't understand it, we enjoy a glass or 2 of wine with our meal but when you are struggling to find anything under £30 per bottle (+ whatever service charge they are adding) it really takes the edge off of the evening. Langhan's, & Ivy Brasserie chain charge low £20's for their house wine & it is very drinkable, so it CAN be done. However we had a very enjoyable evening, staff were good & service good & we will go again.

Has a good location overlooking the stalls in the market, also handy for the Southbank on the Thames.Service from waiters was a bit slow, food was ok but could have been hotter. Pot of tea was very good.

Excellent service and food but not sure why it features in “restaurants with a view” on time out etc
At night there is no market and any half the tables have no view
Whatever it’s a nice restaurant
