Restaurant description

With an interior designed by Italian architect and designer Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners, Rivea restaurant in London brings the spirit of the chic French and Italian Riviera to the Bulgari Hotel at the heart of the British capital.

Focusing on utilising simple and fresh ingredients to bring out the flavours, the Rivea London menu is vibrant and bold. Inspired by the bustling food markets in Italy and Provence, the Mediterranean menu features the likes of warm octopus and potato salad, and aubergine caviar. Main courses from the Rivea London menu include line-caught tuna with sautéed vegetables and agrodolce sauce, and seared beef fillet, crushed potatoes with olive oil.

A carefully-selected wine list complements the menu, showcasing small artisanal producers alongside iconic winemakers, all sourced from France and Italy.

Offering elegant cuisine and a relaxed ambience, Rivea London in Knightsbridge sits 2 minutes’ walk from Knightsbridge Tube Station.

Service was great at the beginning but then staff completely disappeared. Almost left without paying the bill.

Third time here: the Bookatable menu is outstanding value, quality of food superb, complemented by really excellent service. As a result of the service quality - in both bar and restaurant - which contributed significantly to the enjoyment of the evening, our cocktail consumption was unusually high - perhaps proving that Star Deals can do more than fill-out a restaurant.

We had a wonderful night. Either tho we expected it a little bit better in regarding the food the service was absolutely 5 stars. The young French lady was absolutely adorable, caring, smiling, funny and attentive. Thank you so much.

Very good experience. Charming bar staff, waitress Martina and Bar Manager, Alessandro, who changed my cocktail as I really didnt like it - very pleasantly and stopped and chatted with us We spent almost an hour at the bar and were escorted to the restaurant when we were ready, even though we were 40 mins late for the table booking. They changed our table to one that suited us better and gave us personal and good service for food and wine. The maitre d, Guillaume, was most welcoming and oversaw our whole dinner personally.

A very good atmosphere with charming staff, we dined on a Saturday lunchtime and the restaurant was almost empty, a crying shame

Glamorous setting with spiral staircase leading down to dining room. Staff appropriately attentive but in no way overbearing.Four course set menu (one veggie one omnivore) was excellent - first course perhaps a little more on the plate than needed but didn't spoil our appetites for the rest of the meal. All courses nice, some courses "fab" We would go there again
