Serving modern Indian cuisine, with influences from around the globe, Rimjhim Indian Restaurant Winchester is an award-winning venue, which has been praised and celebrated by much of the local press.

As well as all the classic curries, the Rimjhim menu offers special alternatives, like spiced Old Delhi chicken curry with a creamy tomato and fenugreek sauce. Innovative signature specialities include the sumptuous roasted rack of lamb with Tandoori spices, served with masala mash and a refreshing pepper and mint sauce. Fine ingredients and traditional cooking techniques go into preparing the innovative dishes.

Skilfully merging contemporary décor with sophistication, Rimjhim in Winchester showcases brilliantly colourful walls, lit with subtle, colour-changing lights. Floor-to-ceiling windows enhance the spacious feel of the dining room, while modern black and white seating adds a touch of class, and large circular booths complement the chic surroundings.

Rimjhim restaurant is less than a 10-minute walk from The Brookes Shopping Centre and only a 3-minute walk from Winchester Rail Station.

The worst curry I have ever tasted. Unpleasant service- waiters more occupied with getting the next table ready than serving customers. Will definitely not be returning!

8pm Monday eve. Staff very attentive and helpful. Nice meal served in good timescale. Venue bit noisy due to lack of soft furnishings - bit stark but pleasant.

the monk fish starter was ok,but the onion bhajees my friends had were awful, clearly not fresh and very dry and hard, the lettuce that came with it was the best bit,i then had the king prawncoconut curry, which came sploshed on my plate with a side dish of rice which a come on a seperate plate, this is the first time i have had curry that had nut arrived in a sperate serving dish, the overall quality of the dish was as bad as i have come across in 20 years of eating indian,it was poor.

We ate about 8.30pm. The food was faultless but the service was not great- on the slow side.
