Always love a visit to Rima Faz, very friendly and helpful staff personally supervised by Faz himself. Amazing food, everything is perfectly cooked and presented, nowhere quite like it for the price in the area, highly recommend a visit

Wel, frankly it was a disaster, we had dined here at the same time a year ago because it is my husbands birthday, quite a way to travel but last year it was perfection, the waiter said it hadn't changed hands but that is difficult to believe. We were seated by the door with a freezing blast every time the door opened, shivering, next to the till where an English chap kept coming along and checking the till much to the staff's annoyance, it appeared, then an English woman came twice to ask for money from the till and spoke to the Indian? ladies manning the till as if they were dirt! We waited 10 minutes after being seated for the menu even though there seemed to be copious staff, had to ask to give our order, was asked if we wanted poppadoms and how many? They're usually free when you sit down but we guessed they were charged for? waited 10 minutes for that to be cleared then waited 30 minutes for starters which were cold, by this stage I was ready to walk out but my husband said 'no the main might be ok' the main was served straight away after starter was cleared but it was not special, the potatoes in the Bombay potatoes were raw/not cooked, that was the only thing my husband told the waiter and he said they were taken off, we ate some and asked for the bill. I am aware this sounds nitpicking but it was a special occasion ruined, the staff were miserable, I find the reviews on their site very difficult to believe I am still upset. I didn't think about it at the time but the bill was just scribbled with prices so it wasn't possible to check it, something we never do but was looking to see if he had taken the potatoes off-not possible? The next day we were chatting and I had only noticed on the menu that my main was £11, my husband said he'd had the set which was £15, with 2 pints of beer a J2O and a bottle of water, the bill was £48 & change which seemed rather a lot! All in all a miserable evening, anyway needless to say we won't be going back
