We had the 6 course tasting menu, which if you were counting had more than six courses! That is not a complaint, because everything was very enjoyable. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and we had an excellent dining experience.

Delightful setting, very welcoming and polite staff. Restaurant tables well spaced, service prompt and efficient. Food fresh and de!icious, scones still warm, my husband's favourite was the raspberry macaroon! I loved the champagne flutes!

Pleasant surroundings, helpful staff, well presented food. Raspberry macarons were beautiful. I did request a pot of tea which didn't turn up until it was asked for a second time.

Excellent afternoon tea, macaroons almost to Paris standards.
A little stuffy in conservatory, no opening windows.
Other customers were working class snobs with tattoos ??

We had afternoon tea to celebrate our 4th anniversary. The points of very special note are:-
    1. The ham sandwiches instead of the usual rather dry and boring had an excellent, I suppose, mustard which brought them to life.
    2. The scones has a slightly crispy exterior with a nice soft moist center. Probably the best I have had. They retained their warmth well.
    3. The jam was very tasty. Not the usual commercial affair.
    4. The fruit macaroons were rather special.
The rest was very good. The surroundings were very pleasant and peaceful with god service.

pleasant tea room attached to hotel. Service a little slow but very nice staff - they were quite busy and could not find our reservation immediately. Very good standard of food, tea and champagne/prosecco options. Good value and I would return for sure. could not finish the amount of food for our trio, so they kindly packed up the cakes for us to take. Scones and jam, sandwiches very good.

Excellent meal but I felt that the main course was a little small
