menu choice was poor for set memu.
I had chicken as main course and sent it back as it was cold.
Waiter ensured it was heated up but i feel this is very poor.
Fabulous food and lovely presentation We were made to feel welcome and the staff were pleasant and friendly

Made to feel welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant, friendly professional staff, excellent choice of menu once again ,the pea and ham soup was delicious, the fillet of pork cooked to perfection, and the dessert was wonderful..Jonny was an attentive waiter who made our visit extra special
I took my sister for a surprise afternoon tea birthday treat. The food was wonderful with a great selection. The waitress who took our order was called (Trina) she was a breath of fresh air, very pleasant, jovial and a smile at all times. (Well done Trina). I would definitely return.
Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit her for our silver wedding anniversary. Staff excellent very professional. Food amazing. We were not rushed at all. We had a Wowcher deal which imade it excellent value for money and unlike some eetablishments we were not treat any differently or given inferior table as does happen elsewhere. Thank you for making our day even more enjoyable
Been here on a number of occasions and it has always been excellent.
The booking service is excellent, so straight forward and easy to do. The staff are all very professional and friendly.
As always the food was fantastic. The Belly Pork and Black Pudding was delicious. I loved the Frangipane with Vanilla Ice-cream and fruit, my partner loved loved loved the Chocolate Fondant with Ice Cream.
We will be back,
We always enjoy our lunch at Marco's. This time I had an afternoon tea, for one, which the friendly staff were happy to do although I understand it is normally served for two. So thanks for being flexible. One thing, I personally would prefer more sandwiches and less cake (I bet not many say that) or why not a choice of cheese scone with butter instead of fruit scone? That would be one way to get more savoury than sweet.
