Great meal. We are one gluten free and the pizza was fantastic. Great service and a discount for our pure gym membership
We arrived early, as we had been shopping and we hungry and in need of a good rest. The restaurant made sure the accommodated us early and made us feel very welcome. We had a lady waitress -- Jenna? I think . She was amazing from start to finish, with recommendations, help and they certainly worked.
The garlic bread is amazing and so was the prawn linguini.
We had prosecco and we had flavours. They way they were served is wonderful.
Well done ziggi Harrogate, the best customer service and food to die for xx
Great food and service
Food excellent, especially rustica pizza. Qcumber and mint drink was very refreshing. Lovely setting and staff were polite but service was very slow considering it was really quiet.
Good extensive menu, personable staff
Although our waitress was attentive. The service was shocking, it took 5 mins to be seated and then a further 15 mins for the waitress to take our drinks order. (Not her fault as she was the only staff member around it seemed). When the food arrived it was nice but took an extra 5 minutes for one of our party to get their food.
Unless the service improves I will not be going back.
The service was slow (over 30 minutes for two mains) despite the restaurant being half empty. The temperature was quite cold making us move to a table near the oven/kitchen. The condition of the furniture in the area near the toilets leaves much to be desired, tables and chairs.
We have been to this restaurant several times. The service has always been good and the staff pleasant and helpful. The food is good. Our favourites are the Zizzis Antipasti, Chicken Caesar salad, Pizza Piccante and Espresso Affogato. We previously took our six year old grandson and it was ideal for him. Docked one star for the drinks as I still have difficulty paying £15 for a bottle of wine that would cost £5 in the supermarket, but it's the same everywhere of course.
Lovely decor, very relaxed atmosphere.I particularly appreciated the extensive gluten free menu. I had a delicious butternut squash pizza with a creamy pesto base.. Followed by a chocolate melt dessert. Truly delicious. Staff were attentive, and patient without being overbearing at all. I've been to Zi Zi's many times and I'm sure I'll be returning again soon. ??
We took advantage of a superb offer of 3 courses for £14.95 which had a limited selection but good enough for us. My husband had garlic bread with mozzarella and an balsamic onion relish and I had brushetta. The first thing that struck us was the potion sizes - far too big for a starter. His was quite rich and I had about 10 single cherry tomatoes on 2 slices. I'm used to chopped tomatoes on top of the bread! Lovely but far too much. I know we didn't have to eat it all but we were hungry!
For mains we both had the same pasta dish - chicken with tomato and light chilli dressing very tasty. By this time we were quite full but after a gap my husband had ice cream and I had tiramisu - very light and gorgeous.
My only criticism is that there was far too much food - the starter size was far too big
Service was excellent - Lovely helpful chatty waitress.
