I went to the Hawksmoor for the Restaurant Festival autumn deal they had, for an early dinner with 2 friends. 2 courses for £25 or £30 for 3. We had some great food. The steaks were good. I didn't have dessert as I was full. My starter was a potted beef paté with 2 huge yourshire puds. I tried my friends desserts which were sticky toffee sundae and peanut butter shortbread which were delicious. The service was spot on and friendly despite the restaurant being rammed.
Staff were engaging and helpful. Food was excellent and service was attentive and subtle. Atmosphere was lively on a Friday lunch time.
We had the 2/3 course set meal and it was incredible! The fillet steak was perfection, and though were were possibly too full, we made room for the delicious sticky toffee sundae and had no regrets. We went for a birthday celebration and the waitress made it very special by giving us some glasses of champagne on the house; she was attentive, relaxed and friendly. My partner had been wanting to visit Hawksmoor for years and it did not disappoint!
The restaurant itself is big and really nice. Service is excellent: everyone is very nice and helpful. I was a bit disappointed by the food. My boyfriend and I chose the Express menu (one starter and one main for £25). The starter wasn't tasty and the steak, which was supposed to be medium, was overcooked. Chips are very good. Overall quality is good.
Hawksmoor always a good choice
Great food and service!
Amazing breakfast and excellent service. Definitely a place to visit in London for foodlovers!
As usual the restaurant was excellent but they insisted that they were not currently running the special offer that I had booked through yourselves ? they did give us a complimentary cocktail by way of a softener but we were very surprised
The fillet steak was top notch!just the fillet along I would come back for!
