Food very bland. Not at all authentic. Taramasalata was very expensive (£4.50) considering it didn't come with bread. Bread was separate - was far too large a portion. Halloumi skewer was very clumsily presented - huge tasteless pieces of halloumi with very small pieces of pepper.
This is one of my favourite restaurants in the South Bank are, lovely, fresh greek food, good service and a terrace outside by the river, my preferred place to sit, with good views down the Thames and across to St Pauls cathedral. There is a wide-ranging menu that is also good for vegetarians and the food is unfailingly high standard and well cooked. There are some good value choices as well, although I probably wouldn't try the Booktable £15 meal deal again, just because I prefer some of the other option on the menu. The service is pretty good as well, for a busy restaurant.
Great deal. Good food, helpful and welcoming staff will definitely go back
Disappointing. The main dishes [hot] were brought to the table at the same time as the starters [cold meze.] So by the time we were ready to eat the hot food it was cold. My lamb meat balls were dry and tasteless. In fact I couldn't finish them. All very expensive for what we had, but it was probably made expensive by the price of the wine.
Very good value. £15 fro a glass of prosecco, starter and main.
Love this place. Handy for The Globe. Always a nice welcome and good service despite the restaurant being busy. Food is great and portions big enough too. Will definitely be back.
Good choice on the £15 lunch menu and good was lovely and very plentiful. Service was excellent too. Lovely view of the river just made it.
Great lively atmosphere with quick service and tasty food. An ideal location near Southbank with plenty of pubs and bars to visit after.
good food, good service and great location
Loved everything about it. Great service and delicious food!
