Great service, superb food.
Only note: given that the restaurant was not very busy, they could have accomodate us near a window, as requested.
The serving staff were very polite and the food was excellent. I highly recommend going for the tasting menu as we did, both the scallop cerviche and lobster tail dishes were amazingly tasty and very well presented. Would definetly return to dine again.
Lovely ambience and delicious food. We thought it very good value and the staff were charming. Cauliflower mousse was very innovative and I have not had anything like it before.
Brilliant dinner, impeccable service and food was prepared with detail.
I was a bit upset to see that we were the only persons who didn’t have any complimentary amuse bouche, unlike all the other tables.
I think every detail is important for a Michelin star restaurant, and I was upset to not being able to enjoy the whole dinner experience.

Warm welcome; sophisticated bar with unique range of Madeiras. Intimate but spacious restaurant with outstanding food. Rich enveloping natural flavours which were always complementary. Compendious wine list which covered less famous European vineyards very well. Attentive knowledgeable and friendly service. Over all one of the best meals we gave had - and I have dined at a number of Michelin star restaurants. If you have not been, you should.
Very small set lunch menu but could have chosen everything on it. Generous portions served with grace and style in an intimate setting.
Eaten here before in the evening but first time for lunch. I'll be back!

Wonderful from start to finish! The ambiance was magnificent and so peaceful. Delicate pink roses adorned the tables and bar, with soft music in the background. The service was excellent. Beautiful table settings. The menus come in authentic old encyclopedias, a wonderful unique touch. Tea, champagne, finger sandwiches and pastries were all top notch! Hats off to chef William Drabble. A bit pricey, but we'll worth the experience. Highly recommended!
