One waitress did her v best but overwhelmed.
Long waits but don’t blame the staff - blame the management.
Not the Geales I remember and the chips were simply awful.
Think I deserve a refund or a comp meal.
The fish & chips were the best in town! The service was fantastic and friendly. The Proseco was definitely flowing :)
Very relaxing but two items on the menu were not available.
Waited ages for food
Which when it came was mediocre.
Place was half empty on a Saturday evening which tells you how good it is!
‘Catch ‘ of the day was a choice of sea bass or salmon , both of which are farmed fish.
Whole place has gone down the tubes badly, I won’t ever be going back. It was much in the past
Excellent good value
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Geales on Friday. The service was great, not over the top, just friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and it was nice to have a varied, yet concise menu to choose from.
Excellent Fish and Chips and charming service
Extremely nice food - well prepared; great ambience; service was quite good, although the order was misplaced, so our food did not arrive all at the same time and one person had to wait for 20 minutes for their main course to arrive, which was a shame. Somewhat short staffed for the Sunday holiday.
Disappointing as 2 out of the 3 starters were not available - I also asked to swap the Prosecco for wine ( actually cheaper ) but was declined
A disappointment. No soup on menu and the meal OK but chunky chips and fish very ordinary. The pear sweet was hard.
