    Restaurant looked lovely but the website allowed me to book a table for when the restaurant wasn’t open (Sunday, New Year’s Eve) so this might confuse other people too. We had to eat somewhere else! Would definitely try and eat there again though!

    I ate breakfast which was delicious. However my table was cleared by the time I got back to it with my croissant. It all felt too rushed, as did my dinner experience. The hotel and staff were lovely. I just think a little more thought to customers in the restaurant would improve things no end.

    This meal was a gift from one of our sons and therefore as far as he is concerned, it was a good meal. That is as far as it gets.
    The restaurant was pleasant( rather quiet for a Saturday evening, we thought) and the staff very good.
    The quality of the food was disappointing especially my wife`s steak.
    The evening got worse for when I asked for cheese and biscuits, I was told they had run out of biscuits! There was a late night store
    opposite the restaurant where they could have obtained some!.

    The waiting staff were polite and friendly, the menu had less choice than I expected. the time it took from ordering the food to it actually arriving at the table was very, very slow considering the restaurant was so empty.

    Very disappointed with our evening at The Radisson Blu. According to the staff there was a problem with the heating and the restaurant was freezing. My coat had been taken on arrival but within 10 minutes I had asked for it to be returned so I could wear it during my meal. The lady on the next table also disappeared and came back wearing a jumper which she had fetched from her room as she was obviously cold too. The main course was OK however not a great selection of sweets and the fruit compot that accompanied my Creme Brûlée was too sour to eat. We did complain to the staff and the hotel duty manager but was told we needed to speak to the restaurant manager. We decided to leave rather than go back to the restaurant to speak to him as the duty manager was very unhelpful. It's always a risk purchasing your meal beforehand and in this case our concerns were founded. Will not be returning.

    The lighting was just a bit too low and I had trouble reading the menu. There was no finess with the wine, it was just brought to the table and dumped I expected more from a 4star hotel but it was disappointingly adequate. The Ribeye steak was excellent but the battered onion rings were soft and sloshy (they should be crisp) they also lacked any flavour. I thought the wrong type of onions had been used. The service was extremely good and the waiters very polite. The only other matter was the modern lift, reception made no mention of the use of the card (door key ) needed to operate the lift. This caused a lot of frustration and during the 21 hours I stayed at the hotel at least 11 people had unwanted exasperations with the workings of the lift. Perhaps a small note or a word or two from the girl receptionists would have avoided this.
