This was a special treat for my daughters 16th birthday - she had never been to a fine dining restaurant so thought it would be a great experience. We arrived early and had cocktails/mocktails in the piano bar, this room has a lovely ambiance. Taken through to the dining room and seated and immediately served hors d'oeuvres. A beautiful cup of parsnip soup came between the starters and mains too, and we all picked a desert. The food was exceptionally good, I especially like the venison. As usual the presentation adds to the enjoyment of the meal. All waiting staff were very attentive. We asked to go back to the piano bar after the meal and special thanks to Fabricio who organised a 'happy birthday' cake to be brought to the table for my daughter. A most enjoyable evening.

A delicious lunch served impeccably in the elegant surroundings of this beautiful old mansion, in extensive parkland with its huge mature trees. As always, gourmet-class menu, at a reasonable price, with a glass of wine, coffee and chocolates included. Who could ask for more?

Decadent dishes in a beautiful dining room. Worth coming to for a special treat - there is no option for individual a la carte dishes so you have to order the full set menu for dinner.

A real delight from the wild-flower meadow in front of the elegant mansion to the delicious lunch on the Best of British menu. Attention to detail excellent on all levels. Any drinks not included in offer very expensive as expected in those surroundings.

A beautiful hotel in a lovely location with stunning views. From the moment you arrive you feel special. The dining room was nicely laid out with lovely views across the gardens. The staff were attentive and friendly. The menu had a good choice. The food was displayed with elegance and tasted lovely. Will go back and can understand why they have a Michelin Star they deserve it
