Excellent food, 4 of us all enjoyed every dish. Service was second to none. The jazz was enjoyable too.

From start to finish an excellent experience. The food was superb, likewise service. We always enjoy our meals at The Lord Bute. Personally I loved the sea bass and creme brulee! It was the first time for our friends and they were very impressed.

Unfortunately, the experience was a disaster. We arrived at 1.15pm for our 1.30pm reservation. We expected a short wait until we would be seated but 45 minutes passed and we decided to depart at 2.15pm because of the service.

Such poor management of the restaurant was disappointing because the quality of the food and the presence of silver service obviously singles this hotel out from many others. It is a real shame to be so negative but first impressions count.

The Lord Bute has been our favourite for Sunday lunch for years. Superb food, service, ambience, and a pianist plays lovely music throughout lunch
