A stunning Grade II-listed neo-gothic building with hotel rooms upstairs, the Restaurant at The Lemon Tree is an award-winning setting for modern British dining. There is a relaxing bar area to enjoy cocktails in, and afternoon teas are served daily, with all the traditional trimmings.

Locally sourced ingredients prepared with inventive flair go into the Restaurant at The Lemon Tree menu. To start, there is duck and chestnut terrine with beetroot chutney and toasted corn bread, while hearty mains include black pudding-stuffed belly pork with sage mash, tender stem broccoli and roasted baby apple. On Sundays there are traditional roast dinners, as well as seafood options such as salmon fillet chowder with clams, mussels and a mini loaf.

Desserts at the Restaurant at The Lemon Tree in Wrexham include treats like blood orange and chocolate cheesecake with chocolate sorbet and burnt orange coulis. There is a great selection of craft beers and fine wines, while the afternoon teas are packed with indulgent options.

Dishes was good. Staff as well. But we saw that staff offer other people extra sauces for steak unfortunately nobody wasn't ask us.

This used to be our favourite restaurant some years ago but we went less and less as other owners took over and changed the menu, for the worse! We decided to try again after other good reviews and booked on a Sunday so we would have a quiet meal and not be rushed. The welcome was excellent and we had a drink from the bar while deciding what to eat from the good menu. We ordered a nice Rose wine to go with our meal and had a starter of Garlic bread which was a bit plain and could have done with a bit of cheese on it,my wife asked for chips not mash with her Belly pork and I went for Salmon fillet but when it came there was mash and chips for her and only the salmon for me and no potatoes. The room was a bit cool and we decided not to have dessert as we got cold in there. This has not put us off as the food was excellent quality and the staff were great, we will be back just as soon as the weather improves.

The car parking was very restrictive. I couldn’t get my 4x4 Mazda through the very narrow entrance, neither could my friend in her car. The goats cheese starter came uncooked/unheated straight out of the fridge and the portion size was tiny. We waited a long time. The ambience was poor, choice of music wasn’t conducive to relaxed dining. The desserts were excellent. My friends main course was good
