Boasting British fine dining awarded with a Michelin Bib Gourmand for 2013, the Restaurant at The Ingham Swan, near Norwich, takes pride in its high, yet competitively priced, food quality. Originally a 14th-century coaching inn, the restaurant has retained its pastoral roots with a painstakingly maintained bar and luxurious lodging.

Serving sumptuous, innovative British cuisine, the Restaurant at The Ingham Swan offers menus du jour, a la carte or for Sunday lunch. It proffers mouth-watering choices such as honey-roasted breast of Gressingham duck with roast squash and Chinese cabbage, and baked vanilla cheesecake with mango sorbet and pineapple ravioli.

In the picturesque hamlet of Ingham, The Ingham Swan values its country inn charm, but intertwines this with sleek modern touches. The faithfully restored oak floor also features eye-catching slate tiles, and the rustic flint walls and inglenook fireplaces are carefully balanced with contemporary art and cheerful floral decorations.

Nestled in the rolling North Norfolk countryside, The Ingham Swan is minutes from the sea, and just 25 minutes’ drive from Norwich.

Nicely furnished period pub, attentive staff, very good food, great flavours, good presentation. Don't expect big portions but do expect lovely flavour and presentation.

Trio of pork and duo of beef were very tasty and flavourful. My wife found the cod main to be a little bland in flavour - too much cod and not enough lobster. The veloute was excellent.

All of the food was delicious and interesting. Service was professional and prompt. Lovely surroundings and a relaxed atmosphere. Been coming here occasionally for the past 4 years and every time the experience is consistently top notch.

Lovely meal but very much an element of this and a dash of that kind of place. Don't go here if you are very hungry and practise your poker face for the arrival of the bill. Staff are very attentive. I appreciate quality over quantity but there is a balance to be found.

Excellent food. Lovely combination of flavours. Very good presentation. Very good personal service from the waiting staff. These staff and the kitchen coped very well with food intolerances. Excellent beer (real ale) for the diner (as well as good range of wines which have no interest for us). Lovely ambience.
