The restaurant was very stylish and chic. The staff were very polite, professional and attentive. The complimentary glass of prosecco was a plus! The food was delicious and the portion sizes just perfect.

The regularly changing menus at Truffles are packed with fresh and flavoursome ingredients. Amongst the desserts, discover the sumptuous warm chocolate fondant with a layered orange and Tia Maria panna cotta.

The fine food is complemented by an extensive wine list of international bottles. A converted historic barn, Truffles in Weston-Super-Mare is elegantly decorated with chandeliers and starlit drapes.

Due to a wedding that day the restaurant was late opening so the booking for my wife and I which should have been 7:30pm was pushed to 8:15pm and therefore we had the feeling that they wanted to rush through our meal. The menu looked reasonable in both selection and price, so to start with we asked for bread and olives which also came with Hummus then for starters my wife had the Creamy Garlic Mushrooms and I had the Crayfish & Smoked Salmon all three dishes were very nice. For the mains my wife had Cajun Chicken Breast Served on a Bed of Rice, Topped with a Spicy Salsa Sauce, except that after we had ordered they told us that they had no rice so we had it with chips instead, the chicken came in chunks was very tough and dry my wife could not eat it. I had the Wild Boar Sausages served with Creamed Potatoes, Red Wine Gravy & Seasonal Vegetables, the sausages were very nice but the red wine gravy for too rich which mixed with the richness of the sausages too overpowering. the seasonable vegetables were really bad so overcooked everything was limp and looked horrendous, we could not believe they would send something like this out of the kitchen it actually looked like it was plated yesterday and warmed up. For something we had looked forward to we were very disappointed.

Booked a meal for myself and my wife for our three year anniversary only to turn up at truffles to be told our meal had been canceled. Really spoilt my special surprise for my wife . Really not happy!!!

My whole party thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Truffles. We were welcomed warmly and had a drink at the bar first. Barman was incredibly helpful. Our meal was fantastic - I would definitely recommend the Crayfish and Smoked Salmon starter and the Sea Bass was excellent. We cannot praise our waitress enough for her friendly service - nothing was too much trouble. I will certainly be visiting again soon.

Spa was at restaurant was very high standard .delicious ...but wished I paid for standard delux room ,instead of upgrading to a suite ...beds were meant to be king size or a 4 poster shown on the website ..but instead were 2 single beds pushed together ,worse night sleep ever .as kept falling down the gap in the middle .
