Enjoyed an exquisite silver service in a heavenly setting. The afternoon tea was both scrumptious and delight to our taste buds. Homemade to perfection.
We were blessed with the weather too and ate el fresco.
Recommend the apricot tea.

Presenting exquisite modern British cuisine in Littlehampton, the Tapestry Restaurant is Bailiffscourt Hotel’s historic dining space. A stunning medieval setting of mullioned windows and tapestry-hung walls, the restaurant opens out into a fragrant rose-lined courtyard in the summer months.
Sample sophisticated dishes on the Tapestry Restaurant menu, like a rich cep mushroom and truffle risotto with parmesan shavings, baby fennel and pea shoot salad, and a sumptuous slow roasted baby chicken with buttered savoy cabbage and bacon, glazed carrots, baby turnips and red wine jus. Delectable desserts feature a caramelised apple crème brûlée with a fluffy cinnamon doughnut and cool apple sorbet, and a coffee soufflé with roasted walnut and raisin ice cream.
There’s a lighter 3-course lunch menu at the Tapestry Restaurant at Bailiffscourt Hotel in Climping, which also offers sophisticated private dining. Atmospherically lit by tall candle pillars, the restaurant harks back to an old and chivalrous age.
Near the West Sussex coastline, Bailiffscourt Hotel is a 7-minute drive from Ford Station.

We only had afternoon tea and chose to eat in one of the small sitting areas inside.
Service was good. We were left alone but the response to a request for more hot water was good. We asked for the means to take the balance of our afternoon tea home and that too was dealt with very well.
I have dined here before in the Restaurant.

Excellent service, excellent tea would recommend Bailiffscourt for that special occasion!

Very quiet and relaxing , lovely afternoon tea served by very nice staff and nothing was too much trouble ,even when we couldn't eat it all and they even put what was left in individual boxes and a bag so we could enjoy it at home.

What a charming venue. Beautiful surroundings for a truly elegant afternoon tea. Great choice of teas and delicious cakes and warm scones - there was even a lemon curd option to try with the scones as well as the traditional jam which was delicious. I couldn't fault a single thing.

We had afternoon tea here. I've had afternoon tea at several establishments in London at a much higher price and whilst presentation and quantity may be more with Bailiffscourt the quality was very good for eventhough half the price. Sandwiches tasted fresh and even the most classic of ones like egg were delicious. Scones were perfect. Firm on the outside but lovely and soft on the inside. The cakes were absolutely delicious and we couldn't decide which one was our favourite. They were all light and fluffy. The selection of teas was very good. I will be going back for more chocolate tea! To cap it all the atmosphere was excellent. Tea can be consumed in any of the cosy reception rooms each of which has its own character and charm in comfortable sofas. In winter there are fires in the reception rooms to add to the charm.
