Every thing was perfect. Food was amazing & the staff were outstanding.

Friendly reception really good attentive but not intrusive service. There was a good atmosphere of a team at work. There were four of us and we all found something to tickle our palette on the menu. The crayfish cocktail went down really well. Roast beef with good yorkshires and vegetables cooked to my liking went down a treat.
Desserts were good and a decent assortment. The only downside was no real choice for a non alcoholic drink. The wine drinkers were well catered for.
We will definitely be going again.

Fantastic service and great atmosphere. Mood music was too much to loud and merged into noise.

the staff were exceptional and the belly pork and lemon drizzle cake was the best I have ever had.

Food and service very poor. Would appear that the ingredients came from the frozen isle at Iceland. Three miserably poor roast potatoes that were small, hard as bullets and basically inedible. Vegetable selection bland and cheap as though they were trying to cut costs. Desert also poor. Take it or leave attitude with no real effort made to offer any compensation or apology for an experience that was, from start to finish, a catalogue of errors. We will not be coming here again or recommending it to anyone. So glad we never booked for Christmas Day would have been pig sick to have wasted good money on rubbish. Yesterday was bad enough!!

Awful, miniscule portions of average quality. The staff thought it was amusing that someone had the temerity to complain as "nobody has complined before" .
My advice, for what it's worth, is to eat elsewhere.
