The staff were very good, very polite and attentive. Our experience was spoiled a little bit by the noise, there was a big party in for a celebration and they were very loud and we found we couldn't hear ourselves.

The staff were lovely. Everyone is so happy there! The cakes on the Gentleman's afternoon tea weren't great if honest, some of them really dry and flavourless. The aftereight meringue didn't taste of anything. All four diners agreed. But the beer chocolate cake was nice. And the savouries were outstanding though quite a meagre portion for the price overall. Freeflow bubbles option was great and we were not made to feel rushed. We were there for a birthday and the staff brought out a little cake and candle as well as well as an unusual cocktail for the birthday boy, which was great.

The food and service overall was good although somewhat slow.... the best part of the meal was the cheese cake and the smoke haddock scotch egg the worst was my husbands fillet steak, rather chewy and under cooked

I went there for a champagne afternoon tea with my daughter and three daughters-in-law to celebrate a birthday. We had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, the staff friendly and efficient, keeping our champagne glasses topped up without being asked! It was excellent value and we all said that we will definitely return.

We arrived a little early but the service was wonderful, a special birthday cocktail on arrival in addition to the bellini and free flowing bubbles! When they say free flowing they mean it. A friend was in the area and came to join us also we had booked ofr tow but they were very accomodating in allowing an extra head. A well deserved healthy tip left, food was delightful scones were even a little but warm still. A thoroughly wonderful birthday afternoon!
