Lovely pub with almost heroic dining area. On the river and accessed by the ferry. Good menu with outstanding quality and quantity of food and drink at reasonable prices. Staff friendly and helpful. A great evening.

Unfortunately it was not a good Sunday lunch dining experience. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food. I ordered the mackerel salad and 40 minutes into our wait I was told they had run out of mackerel and would I like salmon instead. The salmon was in a chilli sauce and didnt go with the horseradish sauce that came with the mackerel salad. We arrived at 1.30 and they had already run out of the chicken roast and had soon run out of the beef too, leaving only pork.
My mum had the roast and was unhappy with the minimal amount of vegetables. On a positive, dads ploughmans was good, and the river view is nice.

Really lovely meal with efficient, friendly staff. Liked that the menu had changed substantially since our visit 6 weeks ago.

Excellent afternoon and night at Reedham Ferry Inn. We came us a 5 boat flotilla of Freeman Cruisers, moored up and frequented the pub. Wonderfully friendly staff and a good selection of beers. Great menu including some amazing smoked fish choices and a very good specials board . 10 people all got there good atvygdcsamectine, the quality was excellent t and there were 10 empty plates. We had an egg and nut allergy person with us and the staff were doubly careful in making sure everything that was ordered for that person was egg and nut free, which was great. Desserts were also of a great standard and everyone left extremely pleased with our dining experience. An added bonus was the 24 hour toilet and shower available to boaters which was most welcome.

I was in a party of six having Sunday lunch. The food was nice but I think the starters and desserts are expensive for what you get. (£7 for a scotch egg!). Service however was very slow. Dishes were served and then we had to wait for cutlery and sauces. No dessert spoons so ate dessert with soup spoons. Table was by door and very cold and draughty every time someone came in or went out. But nearly 3 hours for 2 courses is way too slow.

Located right next door to the campsite we were able to relax with a drink and a meal there after struggling in a very cold wind with the first pitch of a new tent
