With its award shelf bulging, Michelin-starred Rasoi attracts gourmets and locals in equal measure to the smart Chelsea townhouse where it serves up chef-patron Vineet Bhatia's 'evolved Indian' cuisine. The lush, colourful restaurant extends over two floors, with an intimate glass-roofed dining area and two charming private rooms upstairs. Sophisticated spicing and balanced flavours mark out signature dishes like tandoori spice smoked salmon and tamarind and cumin glazed quails.

A wonderful meal in a quirky setting. The lunchtime menu was fantastic value and the service was second to non. Helpful throughout and very attentive without too much fuss. Chef was even kind enough to write down the recipe for the dessert as it was mindblowing. I would go there everytime i visited London although not too easy to find but once been, never forgotten. A real gem. Best Indian by a mile.
