Restaurant description

With iconic status on the capital's restaurant scene, Quaglino's has offered brasserie dining in London since 1929. Piero Leone’s contemporary European menu uses the highest-quality British ingredients, and is served against a backdrop of glamorous décor and live jazz.

The Quaglino’s menu is fittingly sophisticated, with dishes such as Highland wild red deer with parsnip purée and braised red cabbage epitomising the restaurant’s penchant for the luxurious. More simple classics also feature, including fillet of steak au poivre and papardelle with smoked tomatoes and aubergine.

An extravagant venue, Quaglino’s has two bars: a central cocktail bar in the main dining room and a mezzanine bar overlooking the restaurant below. Both serve classic cocktails and boast a wine list of over 300 varieties. The restaurant is also renowned for live music, transforming Quaglino’s into a late-night party spot.

Located in well-heeled Mayfair, Quaglino’s restaurant is a 4-minute walk from Green Park Tube Station and an 8-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus.

Beautiful venue and ambiance. Food was delicious - exceptional value for money with the £33 menu. Staff were brilliant and amenable to our needs. Wine venue was fairly limited and no advice given.

A wonderful evening. Food to die for and fabulous service from our waiter Peter and others, in stylish, iconic surroundings. The truffle risotto was heaven! Superb veloute. Can't wait to go back again.

My mum booked the table for my birthday for myself and 4 friends. When we first arrived our booking could not be found but I had a copy of the confirmation. I enjoyed the ambience. I did feel the two hour window allocated was restrictive. We were told that we would need to leave our table by 8.45pm which made the experience a little less personal. Fabulous staircase. The restaurant was perhaps a little too fancy for my age group and perhaps is targeting an older demographic.

the sound level made it impossible to speak and hear. The light was so weak we had to use the lamp of ab iPhone to see the menu. The staff was not very pleasant or helpful, A bad experience after a nice teaterevening. Not to bee recommended
