Parnell's dining experience was fabulous. We felt relaxed and welcomed from our first drink to our final goodbye. My favourite course was cheese and pineapple, which took me back to 80's family parties whilst my husband loved the dessert that won Glynn three 10's on Great British Menu. Our Sommelier was amazing and took fine care of us. All of the staff were polite, knowledgeable and friendly. We had the best table looking into the kitchen so we saw Glynn and the team in action. As it was my husband's birthday, the kitchen even sent him a little treat which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this dining experience and can't wait to go back.

I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant and really like how it has been designed. My one critic would be the tables. Although sturdy, felt a little 1980’s black ash chip board! With a chicken dish a lettuce wedge was served. This seems to be quite a popular side but in all honesty I do not get it at all. Finally I went for a Friday lunch with an old work colleague. We are the type of people what would have certainly continued for a few hours catching up with a drink after lunch. I understand the restaurant needed to close, but it felt quite early and it’s never a nice feeling to be asked to leave. Perhaps closing times should be made more clearer when booking – so diners are aware. Apart from the above which I must stress are minor points I loved the experience. It was honestly amazing and will definitely be dining with you again.

An amazing experience with personal attention from the restaurant manager. We chose the summer tasting menu and were pleasantly surprised to find fresh variations on some old favourites. We were also the first to try the new £300 per person premier wine flight. If you can afford this I thoroughly recommend it as you get the chance to taste some stunning (and very expensive by the bottle) wines. The pairing with each course was spot on. Purnell's remains my go-to restaurant for the best in fine dining.
