Upon arrival the front of house looked clean and tidy. Despite having booked the individual who greated is appeared the know nothing of it. We were shown to a table and were left to make our way through the menu. Starters and mains were ordered, drinks order was taken. Upon delivery of our starters one was missing. When I located a member of staff (they were all stood by the bar chatting amongst themselves) they shortly resolved the issue. Despite ordering off the “meal deal” lunch menu, 2 items for £11.50, the main portion size was HUGE. The kids had the strawberry ice lollies for desert, the smelt incredible, and were gluten free. In short, food quality excellent, service needed improvement.

Barely had anything left on the menu. Ran out of beer.
Ordered 2 starters - one was completely different to what was ordered the other was bruschetta which came out on pizza dough.
Ordered carbonara for main and it was wet and the bowl filled with water.
Second main was chicken and asparagus risotto which there was no asparagus left so it had green beans instead.
Waiter was very nice and friendly just a shame about the food.

Hi, myself, wife and 2 children visited. my wifes rissotto was lovely as were the childrens dishes (lovely little menu by the way) spaghetti for 1 and pizza for the other was beautiful. mine however (a spicy calzone) was lacking spice and not a lot of filling. when the waiter came to ask after we had finished i did inform him that it was rather bland and not what i have had in the past. he said ok thank you and went. so that was rather disappointing.

Found the manageress abrupt and unyielding. We’re ushered eventually to a tiny table squashed in a corner that would barely fit 4 children let alone 5 adults. When asked if a more suitable table was available was told no it’s that or nothing, take it or leave it. After discussion with the rest of the party we decided elsewhere if this was the case. I asked again about a table exchange explaining that really the table was unsuitable and we would have to go elsewhere if nothing was available, when at this point one miraculously became available. We decided to stay as it was my sons 21st birthday family meal and he had chosen prezzos. The starters came and were excellent. We asked for a jug of water, were given the glasses and then had to ask a further 2 times for the water. One main arrived without all the ingredients, a half filled bowl of fries arrived (at £3.95 the portion was a joke) alongside a lasagna which looked like it had been reheated at least 3 times, and the other 3 were lovely. The puddings arrived without cutlery and a pot of tea with no milk... however a candle was placed in a bowl of ice cream for my son which was a lovely touch. Overall the food was good but it was a shame that such a monumental birthday was marred by the attitude at the beginning and the ongoing issues...

Serveral dishes on the menu were unavailable. Our starers took 40 minutes to arrive and after an hour and 20 minutes we walked out. The restaurant was only 40% full, 2 members of staff covering the restaurant with very slow service (if you can call it service!). Having lunched here on several occassions we were really dissapointed that our team get together (Only 4 people!) was completely ruined and resulted in us returning to work dissapointed and hungry.

Before I start I was aware from entering that the restaurant appeared very understaffed which may have lead to our disappointing evening. I was disappointed on arrival that the table we booked was not ready we then had to wait 20 minutes after the table was booked for before being seated. During this time we had several people tell us that they had been waiting over a hour for their food this worried us into nearly leaving. After being seated we were seated looking at menus for 10 minuets before we had to get someone’s attention so that we could order our drinks at which point we decided to order our food at the same time as we were aware we would be waiting a while before a waiter would come back over. After ordering our food it came out very promptly to our surprise as only took around 25minutes and was fresh and tasty. Though the enicial start was disspointing the food and drinks were tasty and enjoyable.

Food was good eventually but service was VERY slow... waited an hour for our main course!
Front of house staff were polite and apologetic but obviously some issues in the kitchen that lunchtime.

Restaurant was quite busy and the staff were really busy. Lovely pizza but they had run out of olives which was disappointing.

Meal was very nice but big concern about the staffs knowledge of allergens. My brothers wife is gluten free and she ordered a dish from the menu. When the dish came out we checked with the waitress that it was gluten free. She looked at us blankly and went back to the chef to check. Another waiter came back to say that the dish was being prepared again and sorry for the delay. If my brothers wife had not had the foresight to check then she could have eaten something that could have made her very ill. A lucky escape and more training needed maybe.
