Starter was lovely but had to wait over an hour for main course. We were going to the theatre so by the time our food came we had to take it away in boxes because there wasn’t enough time to eat.

Not great. We arrived 20 minutes early for our reservation (early evening dinner) and were greeted by a woman who had difficulty finding us a table for two, though there were plenty available. I suggested we order a drink and take it outside while we waited but she checked her list again, and then led us to a table. Drinks & starters were fine but the mains were disappointing: overcooked chicken breast in wine sauce; and ravioli filled with crab & lobster in a yellow sauce. Nothing like as they were described, the pasta was rigid as if not cooked at all, and it was full of an orange crab paste, and no lobster flavour or texture at all. We have eaten these dishes often in Tuscany. For Prezzo to claim their food is of Milan style, is quite an insult to the real thing. We won't be returning to Prezzo Plymouth. On a positive note there were many families with young children eating here on the Saturday early evening.

When we arrived we said we had a quick turnaround. We just ordered mains. After 40 minutes no food had arrived and people around us who had ordered after were getting there food. We asked and we’re told it was just being cooked. We got it 55 minutes after we’d ordered. We were offered a drink as compensation.
