I 'd booked a table for two for lunch, on arrival my friend and I were shown to a table at the back behind a pillar.....despite the restaurant being half empty....we moved to a table by the window in the sunlight!
There was confusion over our order,my friend and I ordered a light pizza (discussed sharing half each between us) however we appeared to receive half a pizza each when the order arrived but were charged full price when the bill arrived.Waitress service was a little slow and she neglected to bring sugar and milk when we ordered tea.....somewhat disappointing visit, compared to a previous experience!

Good service however the pizzas we had were cold and not of a good standard. Drinks too that we ordered were not available.

Lovely varied menu, good portion sizes. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful.Love the ambience in this restaurant, soft lighting and cool background music.Excellent value too as I was able to make use of my voucher.Small issue,my daughter ordered a side salad which would have benefitted from some additional salad dressing.Overall great experience and we were served in good time to get to our theatre show!

Not a good experience, starters were cold and hard & dinner took so long we only had 5 minutes to eat. Staff we not very helpful

My friend and I ordered the same starter - king prawns with chilli in tomato sauce which was supposed to be served with garlic bread but it tasted much more like naan bread and no trace of garlic. The bread was also cold and hard. We sent some back and had to specifically request for garlic butter on the bread as the waitress did not quite comprehend what we were saying.
I was on to the last bite of my 'garlic' bread and felt rushed to finish it as there was not a short break before the main course was served - our starter plates were cleared very quickly and the main course arrived. The main course - penne with king prawns and pesto was COLD. It was another waitress who served us and she seemed to have a 'could not care less' attitude. We did not complain this time as we have heard of enough disgusting tales about what restaurant and kitchen staff can do to food being sent back, etc.
When we finally requested for the bill, we were charged for the side salad (that was supposed to have come without any additional charges) with the main course.
Not impressed at all and we will not be going back again!

A nice restaurant with a good atmosphere and ambience, however we chose to go here prior to going to the theatre which I definitely wouldn’t do again. Allowing ourselves 1 hour and 30 minutes we didn't think this would be a problem, however our meal didn't come until almost an hour after ordering it. I had ordered a side of truffle fries and I received regular fries which was disappointing after waiting for so long. Unfortunately we had 5 minutes to scoff our food by the time it came so it was pointless to complain about the fries. We only got to eat half of our meals and I had to put my fries in a napkin to take away as we had to run to make it to the theatre in time. It felt rather painful having to pay full price for this whole experience. The waitress apologised for the wait however there was no offer to discount anything from our meal (the drinks might’ve been a nice gesture?), and she said it was really busy that night because a lot of people were going to the theatre nearby. Surely this should be expected and prepped for in advance. I politely suggested that in future - to be fair to the customer, upon greeting them, they should let them know that there could be a 45 minute wait on food so that the customer can make an informed decision and either try somewhere else or perhaps avoid ordering a starter and go straight for a main. Looking around I could see we weren't the only diners experiencing this.
Aside from this, what I did get to eat of my dinner was tasty.
The other thing that let the service down - we were behind a column and as a result it was hard to get the attention of the waiting staff and a couple of times we had to get up to call them over.
The restaurant has great potential, but with a new theatre nearby they will really need to up their game in preparation and planning for busy pre-theatre rush hours. The most important thing that can help avoid this - keep customers informed from the first contact.

Booked for a pre theatre dinner. Excellent service and the food was of a high standard and good value. Not all Prezzo's are the same though. We went to the new one in Mere Green and it was SO noisy, we found it difficult to hold a conversation and I am sure it was not good for the staff that worked there.
