The food and the service was fine, but let down by only one out of the two available ladies toilets having a lock! The other had a hole in the door stuffed with toilet paper and no means of locking it for any privacy.

We dined at Glasshouse Street prior to seeing a show and the service was excellent - the whole team were very prompt as they knew we had limited time. The head waitress even gave us 20% off the bill as we had been so rushed prior to arriving. It was so appreciated and the food was lovely.

Location is great for theatre land. It was my 2nd visit, and unfortunately was served cold food, which happened on my previous visit. Was told I would have a fresh meal cooked, but this was spoilt by the chef commenting that the meal was not cold. What did I have to gain by making it up? My companion ate alone, as did I when the meal finally arrived. It definately took the edge off the evening, and I won't be returning there.

Have been to several Prezzo restaurants before and have always found children’s menu to be very good but this one was very poor. My 9 year old granddaughter ordered hummus with vegetable sticks which she always has but the peppers were very soggy and could no way be dipped in hummus, (always been raw before) I asked for them to be changed but they advised they always served them like that! My granddaughter did not want me to make an issue about it so they changed it for garlic bread which was burnt! Also the toilet was not great and the lock was missing on the door with a hole being stuffed with paper! The meal as a whole did not come up to Prezzo usual standard very disappointing for a prestigious area of London.

Unfortunately, my friend and I didn't have a good experience. We ordered tomato bruschetta, which came on a flatbread, not bruschetta. We ordered fried calamari which was so over-fried that it was like eating a crisp and had been fried in very old-tasting oil. We had to send this back, as it was inedible. The next round of calamari was cooked well, but still in the same old-tasting oil.
We both ordered sea bass and french fries for mains. The fish had been fried in the same old oil, as had the french fries. The fries had not been cooked long enough and were "limp". We mentioned to the waitress that the oil really needed replacing and she informed us "it will be changed in the morning". All well and good, but it really needed changing that evening.
My friend and I are not particularly fussy people, but that oil had been used far too many times.
Not good enough Prezzo!
