we ate at 7pm, only negative was I asked for a secluded table but this was not offered on arrival, so we were offered a table in the centre which was clearly not secluded but were offered a good alternative. Food was delicious , only negative was the calamari starter was a little rubbery. Wine was best wine have had in a long time but quite pricey but as was special occassion (birthday) pushed the boat out and had 2 bottles!Overall a lovely night but sometimes a bit rushed by the staff , will definately go back though.

waitress needed to learn when to approach, wouldn't leave us alone whilst trying to decide what to eat then no where to be seen when we required the bill too much spice on the seafood dish and the burgers were dry

Visitors to Gainsborough, we went on a cold snowy Saturday and the restaurant was only half full. We arrived at 8.30 but by the time we were halfway through the meal they were clearing up and decanting food into plastic containers in full view of the diners. Service was indifferent and too rushed. We were out of the place within an hour and happy to be gone. They could learn something from our lovely Gainsborough taxi driver who had a natural ability with customer service.

Could not find our bookatable reservation, but were quiet so seated us anyway! we dined in an evening, for a birthday celebration. appetisers had just arrived, about 2 minutes before the starters and wine. Just as we finished starters, the mains arrived - so we asked why the rush and was told that was Prezzo's style and we had to ask if we wanted them a while apart. We explained this was our first time and they gave us complimentary deserts and coffees - excellent service. Now we know we would go back and speak up at food ordering time.
