I was really disappointed with my visit to Prezzo on Wednesday 3 January 2018. I have visited Prezzo many times and have always been impressed with the speed of service and food. This visit was appalling. We arrived at 1:00pm Had to wait ten minutes before a waitress came to see us. Ordered our food and it arrived at 12:40. The food arrived luke warm and tasteless. We didn't bother complaining at the time as we had to be back at work just after 2:00pm and judging by the service received already, we would not have had our food in time. I ordered the posh perreroni (not a cheap meal) and I might as well been eating cardboard. I was so disappointed it was sloppy and tasteless. Save to say I will not be eating at any Prezzos in the near future especially not the Exeter one and based on my experience I could not in all honesty recommend it.

This was by far the worst meal I have ever had in s restaurant. 3 of us started with the Antipasti which came with a few leaves of damp Rocket salad and a few olives. When we questioned as to why there was no Italian Hummus we were told that was not part of the Antipasti. We pointed out it was included in the menu only to be told by the waitress that we were wrong. On showing her on the menu that it was indeed included she said, " do you want it then?" From a bad start the meal got even worse. My wife's Spaghetti Di Mare was like a tin of Heinz spaghetti with a few prawns thrown in while my Aribbitta was disgusting, as if made from a tin of tomato soup with pasta and pieces of rock hard chicken. My son's Pork belly was poorly cooked and even though he asked for extra greens, they never appeared. Even the Chianti was of a very poor quality, tasting more like a wine vinegar than an Italian classic. In the spirit of openess, they did reduce the bill by 30% but no appearance by a manager. Poor service and inedible food makes this the worst restaurant in Exeter. I even question whether the kitchen staff are even cooks! Nobody with the slightest cookery experience would produce such terrible food.

Utterly terrible - won’t be returning. Best thing about this Prezzo is its central location, but everything else was awful.

A fantastic meal. For us, Prezzo has one of the best quality/price/quantity balance in town. Absolutely 5 stars staff. Kid's menu is fantastic. More than enough food and a lot of options. Perhaps the only negative thing last time was the room temperature. We were seated close to the door, and it was a bit cold.

Slow service, lack of staff, starters being brought out with mains!
Burger burnt food not great. Should have gone to pizza express.

13 of us had lunch - 6 under 11s so we were quite noisy ! The staff were excellent very friendly and attentive. The kids meals were very good value. Overall a good dining experience for a large family Christmas gettogether ??

Every thing was fine exept i think you should automaticly change the cutlerey arfter the starter not just move them from the plate and back onto the table ready for the main course, and yes im fully aware of the green issue of cutting down on the washing up,but im eating a resturant not at home or a friends.
