    Say we did not have a good experience. We dined here with 4 young children (aged 2-6). Some starters arrived promptly but our mains took forever. The restaurant was not busy yet we watched two other tables who arrived and order after us receive and finish their main meals before ours had arrived. It was pretty obvious our order had somehow been missed. After an hours we asked about the whereabouts of our food and the staff member “went to check” with the chef/kitchen but never returned to update us! We then asked another staff member a while later whose response was not satisfactory, as the fact that we had watched other tables finish their meal before ours arrived was not acknowledged. When our food did eventually arrive, well over an hour after being seated we were then left without suitable cutlery and had to leave the table to find a staff member to request cutlery from. We were offered another drink ‘on the house’ but with 4 children drinking their soft drinks, and one of two adults drinking water, we declined the offer as no further drink was needed. £10 was taken off the bill which was unexpected, however having managed 4 restless young children for such a long time whilst a wasting food made for a challenging evening - as such a £10 saving didn’t really cut it for us unfortunately, much as we appreciated that it was better than nothing and hadn’t asked for it. Such a shame, as the inside of the restaurant is lovely and has potential to be a ‘go to’ place for us to dine. As it stands, we will not be returning any time soon, as eating out with children cannot be drawn out for this length of time without there being some fallout. In all honestly, with extensive catering experience from working in restaurants ourselves if someone had just been straight with us and stated there had been a mix up with the orders, we would have had no problem at all - These things happen. Just be straight with customers

    Awful service. Food order wasn’t taken till 40 minutes after we sat down. Every table around us that arrived after us were served and eating before we were even served.

    Staff very friendly, however for the number of tables that were there service was slow, it took 2 hours to have a two course meal. Food quality was great but review staffing levels. Despite book a table, expected the team to know there was a booked table and use my name to show that extra customer service.

    Unfortunately the orders were not correct. We put up with it but I believecfrom the waiter it is due to the new technology for ordering. Still it was disappointing
