The food, when it finally arrived at table, was excellent; but the service was apallingly slow----it took 45 minutes from placing our order for our main course to arrive and the only intermediate order was a shared nibble of olives. Our wine and water order came reasonably quickly but we had almost consumed that by the time the food arrived. Our estimate was that the kitchen staffing needed at least two more and the table service at least one more.

The food was good but we waited absolutely ages for it. Even our drinks took more than 15 mins to arrive. One large family group arrived at 7 but did not get their main course until after 9pm.

Table was not ready. We had to wait - and then wait an hour for the meal when we finally ordered.

Waited forever to be given the menu
Even longer for our drinks order to be taken
Another long wait for our meal order to be taken. Service was absolutely appalling!
Meal was good. Had to ask three times for some water on the table. No apologies.
When the bill came they had put on items from another table which they just crossed off instead of redoing the bill. When I said to the waiter that the evening was a complete disaster and that at one stage I looked round the restaurant and not one table had a meal. When I told the waiter that I wouldn't be coming back he said if he was a customer he wouldn't either !
They need to teach customer service. If there's a problem in the kitchen then say so and apologise. Offer a free drink or olives or dessert it would have made all the difference. Courtesy cost nothing !!

My experience at Prezzo Amersham was enjoyable, as on the previous occasions. The atmosphere was lively, by 6.30pm the restaurant was full with families coming in for early dinner. The starters were ok though didn't impress, but the main dishes were excellent and reasonably priced - both salads (chicken/bacon/avocado and steak) as well as risotto were fresh, tasty and plentiful. Thank you for a free bottle of prosecco - much enjoyed. We also shared a bottle of sauvignon blanc which was good.

Understaffed this evening which meant long wait for starters and slow service for the meal. That was ok but not quite as ordered! Not our best experience

We eat at a range of restaurants with our 4 year old granddaughter and Prezzo is on the regular rota. On this occasion the quality of the food and value for money were as good as ever. However for whatever reason the service was unacceptably slow. There was a lunchtime 'party' in the restaurant but the manager didn't understand why there was a problem.
