Hidden down Mulberry lane, a small ally off Donnybrook Village you come upon an old stone brick house, a red gate and a sign that says 'Poulot's Restaurant'. The gate opens revealing a charming little garden overlooked by a discreetly placed restaurant and guarded by a magnificent bi-centenary pear tree.
This is where celebrated chef Jean-Michel Poulot and his wife Lorna-Jean decided to home there new venture and when you enter this enchanting garden, the sound of running water offers a feeling of tranquillity, a peaceful oasis in the mists of city life.
The décor is bright with clean lines intercepted by magnificent dashes of colour oozing from the energetic paintings by Laura Mulligan complementing the purity and simplicity and catching the energy of Jean-Michel?s unique style of cooking. The food is sublime, a picture to look at, generous in portion and divine to taste.
