Blending pop art surroundings with expertly prepared Japanese delicacies and Italian wines, Pop Art Sushi is a truly unique setting next to the River Thames at St George Wharf, with al fresco seating being a popular choice in the warmer months.

A great selection of sushi favourites are served on the Pop Art Sushi menu. Salmon, bluefin and yellowtail are prepared in varying styles, with subtle additions of avocado, spicy seaweed and sesame seeds. There are signature specials also, such as sweet and spicy Scottish salmon tartare with miso sauce and sashimi, served on puffed potato crisps. Diners can also order special Alaskan salmon caviar, black tiger prawn, and tempura.

Carefully selected Italian wines are served at Pop Art Sushi Vauxhall, as well as a range of colourful cocktails. The Genmaicha organic Japanese 'popcorn' green tea served here makes for a perfect end to a meal.

With a unique concept and funky setting, Pop Art Sushi London is 3 minutes' walk from Vauxhall Tube Station.

Pop Art Sushi is a fun venue that serves high quality sushi. The restaurant also serves as a pop art gallery, and the Italian husband and wife owners play 1980s music in the background, which makes for a vibrant atmosphere. The owners are very welcoming, and make me happy to have the restaurant in the neighborhood.

My favorite dish is a platter called salmon overdose (with salmon sashimi, salmon rolls, nigiri, and cute little salmon tartare shells). The fish is of very high quality, and the starters, beverages and desserts that I have tried are delicious.

Overall, I would highly recommend it.

It was amazing. The fish was incredibly fresh and the portions were absolutely huge! I read that the service can be slow sometimes so I managed my expectations. There was only one lady on the night serving and cooking so things did take a bit longer but it didn't bother me or my friend as we had a lot to catch up on.

Great place. Little bit pricey. Tiny. Had to sit at a window on a stool rather than at a table despite having booked.

Great little hidden gem conveniently placed right outside of the tube and Vauxhall bus station. Lovely husband wife team running a quirky venue with some beautiful pop art. Used to be a gallery but is now a gallery / restaurant. Great dishes with sushi rolls prettily presented on cool plastic plinths. Great 80s sound track playing all my faves with Leoandro singing happily along. Felt very welcome with an absolutely spot on espresso martini will come again and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.
